Distinct from most homes located on this stunning mountain, “The View” has some of the most amazing scenes that Idyllwild has to offer. You can enjoy the sunset each evening from the spacious deck while relaxing in the hot tub! Visualize standing outside while observing the wildlife climb up the mountainside. If you want romance, what could be more perfect then stepping out onto the deck and gazing up at the stars? On warmer days, you may want to go outside to BBQ and enjoy a meal along with the scenery. The main living room has hardwood floors. Cozy up to the wood burning fireplace with a blower on cold evenings or just relax and take in the view of the wonderful surroundings. This exquisite home offers central heat and air conditioning for your comfort along with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which easily sleeps 8 to 10 guests. The 3rd bedroom features vaulted wood beam ceilings.

This is our third time renting from Sprit and this place - once again - does not disappoint, The house is very nice and the deck is extremely comfortable. And I cannot say enough about the view. If possible, it is ever better than described. The house was clean and ready to go. They outfit it like a hotel! They even have robes! Six adults (my family) went up for Thanksgiving and there was everything we would need to cook our feast.
Finally - service is amazing. They are extremely responsive.
Will be back - and if you can't get this house, we can vouch for Spirit on any home.

The rental was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The capacity in this rental needs to be updated. There is a queen bed in the basement and a door to the basement room. There is another queen in a room with a curtain, but otherwise open to the living space and a loft bedroom with a queen and a futon and no curtain. Fine for a large family, but not a ton of privacy, otherwise. We enjoyed the Hot tub that worked great. Didn’t see a ping-pong table.

We came to Idyllwild with our daughter, son-in-law, son and our dogs to celebrate my 65th birthday. The home is well stocked and super homey. The view is everything, and the hot tub was delightful! Two of the bedrooms are more like lofts, and the property isn't fully fenced, but our dogs don't bolt and we were with family so it was all good. They need to remove "ping pong table" from the listing, as the table is in the carport, folded up. Super convenient location and excellent property management.

We had a good time at the house. It had an amazing view, and we enjoyed our time there. the only issue was the sleeping arrangements. The cabin is advertised as sleeps 10, but in reality, only sleeps 7 comfortably. the futon is more like a bench which an adult cannot sleep on, maybe a 1 child, and its super hard, and we were not aware that we would be provided an air mattress for people to sleep in (its nowhere on the listing). the couch is not a sleeper sofa either so only 1 person can sleep there.

The title of the rental lives up to it's name, the views are amazing. The home is very comfortable although the upstairs rooms tend to get a little warm. The shower in the one bathroom is a little odd with three shower curtains that surround it and spill into the bottom of the tub.

Lovely time catching up with son once we all were vaccinated. Very open floor plan, upstairs bedrooms have permanant openings to main living area, so better suited to those folks who don't have privacy issues and all retire for evening around the same time. Deck is right above a main highway through town and traffic noise was notable, BUT THE View is astounding. Kitchen is very sparse in cooking utensils/serving pieces leading to unning dishwasher quite often. It is an easy walk to town square and all the eateries there, so if that is your prefered choice for meals that shouldn't be a problem.
This home has a management company running the rental – makes for a super clean property and access to 24 help if needed.

Bachelor party weekend was a success! As the best man, I cannot thank New Spirit Vacation Homes enough for making this a memorable weekend for my brother and our buddies. As far as premiere vacation rentals go, "The View" truly lives up to its name. With an outdoor dining area, coupled with a luxurious jacuzzi tub overlooking miles of lush green landscape -- we really felt like we escaped the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin had everything we needed. Three completely separate sleeping areas, with beds that made waking up feel like an almost impossible task. A fully functional kitchen and dining area, along with a wonderful layout for relaxation and good hangs. Of course, all of this pails in comparison to the amazing customer service provided by New Spirit. They went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of and supported during our stay!
All in all, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The View and can't wait to book with them again!

We had an absolute amazing time staying at the view. The cabin was so cozy with the fireplace, hot tub on the amazing deck and the rooms were comfy and clean. The office workers were very helpful, we could call any day and ask questions or ask them for extra supplies if we needed them. The cabin was well furnished so we could cook in the kitchen. But by far the amazing deck and hot tub on the deck was the best!! 10/10 would come back again!!!

We had a lovely stay at The View, and everybody we dealt with at New Spirit was friendly, helpful, and professional. The property has lovely outdoor areas and couldn't have been cleaner.
The only things people might want to know in advance are:
1. Two of the bedrooms on the upper levels have an open wall onto the living area, if noise/privacy is a concern.
2. There is some traffic noise from the highway that runs below the property, although it is largely screened from view by trees. This didn't bother us, and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets and stargazing on the deck.

Staying at The View and with New Spirit is always a wonderful getaway and vacation. We came out for Spring break and my birthday. There were a few minor issues that, as usual, were remedied in one way or another almost immediately. If I make a phone call, it is always returned almost immediately. The view from this home is fantastic. The outdoor seating area is a great place to entertain and enjoy your family and friends. Very well appointed and plenty of room for everyone. The downstairs master is private and has it's own entrance as well. Great for families! I have been with New Spirit for at least two years and I will go nowhere else for my vacation needs. The View was a dream to stay in. With a beautiful view, plenty of space and in a beautiful neighborhood, this place really was a treat. Night time hot tub star gazing was amazing, and we happened to catch the satellite launch from the deck. Very spectacular! Monica and her staff were incredibly helpful and kind to us and attended to our concerns. We very Michael look forward to staying with them again.

We were all thrilled with this house and would absolutely stay here again. The house is even better in person and is spotless! Really unique property and that view is incredible. Everyone we spoke to, especially Michaela, was incredibly helpful. Best rental experience to date. Thank you all for ensuring that we had a stress free weekend. I can't wait to visit again!

I've stayed with New Spirit's properties a few times now and each time I am never disappointed. In fact, I'm surprised with how simple, fun, clean, organized and easy each stay is. I'm a big fan of this company and was blown away by this property. The view is amazing (hence the name). We stayed for 4th of July (2017) with a handful of friends and lounged on the deck while playing music and dipping in the hot tub. If you're looking for a great service and an easy, relaxing experience, New Spirit is for you. And so is The View!

Our second time renting the View. It's a beautiful contemporary home with 3 comfortable bedrooms, a great Franklin stove and a wonderful view of forest and mountains.
We participated in the Idyllwild Halloween Parade which is a very fun small-town type of event. Everyone in the Town really gets into it.

The house was extremely clean, well appointed and well maintained! The house's amenities - furniture, windows, blinds, heat and air, appliances, wood stove, spa, etc. were all near top of the line and in very good repair. We prepared and ate all our meals there and found everything we needed. The one working television in the living room was a little small but came programed with everything! We spent a great deal of time on the beautiful deck, and yes, there was some minor road noise but nothing intrusive. It was a great weekend, and we will definitely be back!

The view from The View House really is as magical as the pictures show. There is more deck furniture now. It is lovely. The kitchen is much nicer than the pictures show as well. It's a lovely home. Monica and Niki from New Spirit were so friendly and helpful, it added to the entire experience. The house was very clean and welcoming. It was also super close to town yet when you were in it it felt very secluded.

Overall a nice place, clean and well maintained. Nice view but above the highway (road noise). Home faces southwest so the deck is very, very hot on warm days. Needs more shade as the rickety umbrella provided blows over in a light breeze. One upstairs bedroom is a loft, open to main living area downstairs. And the other upstairs bedroom has a "window", a large cut-out with curtains also open to every noise downstairs. Best room is downstairs, completely private with bath. Kitchen well stocked, plenty of towels, etc. Extra $60 for firewood "service" is questionable because there is a ton of firewood stacked up in the carport but I paid extra so "it would be there".

Awesome view, with a well stocked household. The view is as seen and very nice. But to be fair I gave it 4 stars because part of the view is of a power line which is no big deal but it is there, and It is pretty close to a highway so it can be a little noisy, not bad but just something to keep in mind. Once your in the hot tub at night you can't see or hear that anyways. I would not recommend this place for older people or families with kids. It has a lot of stairs and different levels. Managers were awesome.

True to name, beautiful view, absolutely breathtaking. The house was cozy. Everything was extremely clean and furnished. Beds and blankets were good quality which made our stay extremely comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with necessities to make our home cooked meals, although their cooking utensils and microwave could be upgraded. The Jacuzzi was an amazing amenity that we enjoyed. A 2 minute drive to the town, great location, great house, perfect weekend getaway!

We decided to rent a house to invite a few friends to spend the weekend with us and do an intimate wedding ceremony. The house was just beyond perfect! Super clean, cozy and comfortable for us and our 8 friends. We did the ceremony during the sunset at the deck and the view was breathtaking! I would recommend this house to everyone that wants to enjoy nature and escape from the daily routine, is the perfect getaway to spend with friends or family.

We absolutely loved our stay at "The View" and would definitely go back. The main office was super responsive and helpful and everything was clean and functional. I think the only complaint I have is that there is no privacy in 2 of the 3 rooms, so I would not suggest this for a family because the people in the rooms with no doors can hear everything.

Home has an excellent location and layout; all rooms open into the central living room, which has expansive glass to capture the mountaintop view. Bedrooms on three levels--each with its own bathroom.

The house we rented was everything advertised and much more. Beautifully decorated with everything we needed. The huge deck was a constant draw with a gorgeous 180 degree view.
