Welcome to Lily Rock Lodge! Lily Rock Lodge was constructed in 1963 and has a dramatic and unique open floor plan with 2,700 square feet of living space. The stairs and a portion of the upper level are “cantilevered” over the first floor and the ceilings in every room are knotty pine. The lodge’s soaring 30-foot ceilings and a dramatic antler chandelier give that "wow!" factor. “Lily Rock Lodge” is perfect for a romantic getaway or a large family gathering. The lodge has a private Jacuzzi hot tub, pool table, and a 55-inch HDTV with a Blue Ray player. The home's huge grand fireplace and antique potbelly stove fireplace create a warm and charming ambiance. “Lily Rock Lodge” offers a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all the necessary tools to prepare amazing meals. If cooking is not for you, the Lodge is just located a few minutes from the center of Idyllwild, which is loaded with great restaurants and shops. Our stay at Lily Rock Lodge was magical. The cabin is spacious and clean. The vibe of the cabin was so cool. Very comfortable. We arrived just in time for a little snow. My kids were so happy. We will definitely be coming back!

Our group of friends rents this home every year, and this year it was in BETTER condition, which made us happy! There were more "cleaning crew" touches, and the driveway and walk were shoveled - contrary to New Spirit policy! We were so thankful for that. Keep it up at Lily Rock!

I rented this cabin to celebrate my 50th birthday with my friends and it was perfect. We loved the layout of the house. Perfect community vibes with the very open space.The trails are up the street, the fireplace huge and the hottub has a gorgeous view of the mountain.

Great family location with great views from deck hot tub. Pool table is a nice amenity but location directly in front of wood fireplace seemed out of place. Note check in is at 4pm and check out is 10am.

Luxury Cabin in the Woods

We picked this cabin for its pool table and hot tub as well as its location away from downtown, but still reasonably close. We were ecstatic when we arrived and found the wonderful upstairs loft with game room and lots of games including chess, darts, twister, backgammon, etc. The kitchen was large and well supplied, the deck massive, great barbeque grill, and the piano with sheet music was an added bonus. We will definitely be back!

The Best Place to Start the New Year!

We experienced a wonderful time at Lily Rock with family and friends during the holiday season. The home felt like a ski lodge. Spacious, cozy, and full of character. Plenty of room for everyone to hangout together or to enjoy their personal time alone next to the fireplace with a book. The large kitchen area was great for entertaining. Both the pool table and jacuzzi were life-savers for the days we stayed at the house and had to keep people entertained. The surrounding area of the home was amazing. Snowball fights and sledding in the fresh snow that dropped from the first night; the beautiful hiking trails that led up to the most amazing picturesque views of the mountain scenery. And the quick drive into town to check out the local shops and personalities was definitely a highlight of the trip.

The only complaint we had was the lack of parking spaces. When the first group arrived at the house the parking spot was taken by the cleaning staff that arrived there late due to staffing issues. This part we get. But, the first group that arrived couldn't unload their vehicle because the other two spots were not cleared from snow. So they had to park their car in town until the cleaners were finished to unload their vehicle. At which time the second group arrived and took the only available spot. So only one of the three vehicles had a spot to park which made it an inconvenience when shuttling people, including kids, to and from places. If there was a snow plow service available I would encourage that you make it available to guest especially during the snow season. Or have at least two spots available at a property that sleeps more than 10 people. Other than that... We had a great time and hope to make an annual event out of it. Thank you!

Our family of four adults and three children, ages six and ten, had a relaxing four day getaway in Idyllwild at the Lily Rock Lodge. The furnishings were exactly as depicted in the VRBO app as was the awesome views. We enjoyed the pool table, other games, and the hot tub.

Overall this was a lovely visit. The house was clean and comfortable, the amenities were great and in good condition, the layout of the home is really nice and open. Lovely cabin setting with great amenities! It worked perfectly for our group, but there is only one enclosed bedroom (downstairs)--the additional sleeping options are in a loft (upstairs) that is divided into three areas but not three rooms. We loved the open concept though and it made for a great weekend retreat. Our group made use of the full kitchen and large dining area as well as the pool table and hot tub. My only regret is that we didn't lay a fire in the beautiful fireplace... next time!

This classic mountain lodge has the most wonderful ambiance from the moment you step in the door, as if you can feel the history and see the amazing craftsmanship. The owners have furnished this home with very comfortable amenities and lush, beautiful decorations. The open floor plan and lofted ceilings make the living space even more magnificent. The grand fireplace provides an awesome ambiance in the evenings! The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed and more! We are returning to Lily Rock Lodge this coming weekend to experience more mountain luxury. Check it out, you'll be pleasantly surprised!
Fabulous Mountain Retreat!

Came up here with a group of fun friends for a work retreat. We had a blast (and were very productive). There was plenty of room to spread out with our laptops and hammer out the work. The big living area had plenty of seating for all of us to cuddle in with blankets and chat it up after dinner.

There are a lot of beds and everyone was comfortable, even though the upstairs isn’t technically private. If you want total privacy, only the downstairs bedrooms will suffice.

The open kitchen was lovely but unfortunately the oven didn’t work which was sad to learn after already putting food in. The house was not “spotless” but it was very clean. I say that just because I know some people expect spotless like a 4-star hotel. The location is a little far to walk to town but it’s so nice and quiet. Overall, we had the best time. We are definitely coming back next year!!

Spa did not heat upon arrival, but was fixed. Oven would not heat past 300 degrees. Was not fixed. BBQ was very dirty and flared up from built up grease. Pool table provided great family entertainment. Location and parking was good. Accommodated family of 9 with dogs well.

Bitter/Sweet

Hello upon arrival to the cabin it had a very bad smell to it. It smelled
Like old cooking oil and fried fish. There was spider webs all over the cabin. My wife actually got bit by bed bugs in her right arm. There was about 6 bites on her arm which we have pictures of, we also let the gentleman who we turned in our keys to and personally showed him.
Past all those issues it was a beautiful stay and getaway. We came to celebrate our honeymoon and we enjoyed the cabin and town.

The Great Idyllwild winter vacation.

New Spirit Team was very helpful beginning reservation to returning the key. Very professional and responsive. The location and property was great and quite. We did not get snow during our stayed but cold and windy at night. Jacuzzi was nice and warm, ready to get in, but no one was get in due to the cold weather. Amenities were well equipped and completed. The only one I would like to say is squeaky noise if some one walking upstairs. That was second times visiting to Idyllwild and stayed different properties. But we like this place.

WHEN YOU STAY AT ALILY ROCK LODGE, YOU REALLY DON'T NEED TO GO OFF THE PROPERTY. THIS PLACE HAS ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING! WE COOKED GOURMET MEALS (THEY HAVE ALL THE EQUIPMENT), WE PLAYED POOL (POOL CUES NEED A LITTLE LOVE), WE RELAXED IN THE SPA (THEY HAVE PLENTY OF TOWELS & A WASHER/DRYER), PLAYED BOARD GAMES (NO SCRABBLE-BRING YOUR OWN), SAT OUT ON THE WRAP AROUND PATIO AND ADMIRED THE BIRDS (OUTDOOR CUSHIONS ARE BY THE POOL TABLE), AND WE DIDN'T WATCH THE TV ONCE. We have been vacationing at Lilly Rock Lodge for about 5 Years. We love the tasteful rustic cabin decor, the open floor plan which allows for comfortable family gatherings. Perfect cabin stay

We stayed at the Lily Rock Lodge for two nights, and it was everything we wanted and more. Perfect location, but close enough to town to get anything we'd need. The hot tub and pool table were wonderful additions. The layout is unconventional, but it worked for us. Very easy check in/ check out process, and the management was quick to respond to any questions. Stay here!

Quiet Mountain Neighborhood Cabin

Our stay here was excellent. The check in was an extremely quick process that lasted no longer than 1 minute. The proximity of the office to the lodge was about 5 minutes and we were provided with directions as well.
The cabin was perfectly kept up and came well stocked with pillows, blankets and kitchen supplies. The block itself is very quiet throughout the day. Excellent views of the woods through the large windows and a large wrap around deck with a hot tub was amazing(though we didnt use it).
Looking forward to booking this location again on our next visit.

The fridge was not very cool and the bbq didn't have gas. but overall it was a nice place

Beautiful Views

The cabin setup is nice. The upstairs loft has 3 separate rooms, tho there are no walls separating them to the ceiling.Not much privacy there, but that didn't matter to us. The downstairs bedroom was roomy and clean. The washer/dryer is in the bedroom closet, tho I did not use it. There is a separate downstairs bathroom that was sufficient as well. I loved the SUPER high ceiling in the living and dining area. Also loved that most of the walls facing the back were either sliding glass doors or large windows with views. Very relaxing to look out of. There is a hot tub on the rear porch and several seating areas on the porch. I wish there was central a/c as we did not see there was. My dogs got heated at times, but I found fans that I set up in the living room and that helped. Also, my wish having dogs was that their was fencing on the property, but that is a personal thing that some may not agree with. My adult sons enjoyed hiking at the many trails nearby. They did say to warn of hornets as a few people in their group got stung. The center of town was close. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.
