Welcome to On the Rocks! This secluded tri-level home with den comes set with an outdoor hot tub in a lush, wooded setting in the San Jacinto Mountains. Guests will also have a fully stocked kitchen with a bar and a cozy living room. Each of the three bedrooms has a queen sized bed and there are two pull-out couches which allows his house to accommodate up to 10 guests,. There is a wooden deck, near a quiet seasonal stream. Guests will have free Wi-Fi, as well as a lovely wood-burning fireplace.The home is also less than a mile out from town, so if you don't feel like driving talk a walk and enjoy the fresh mountain air! On the rocks is perfect for larger groups or families who want a home that is packed with amenities but with lots of space and privacy.

This house was perfect for our family of four with plenty of room to spare. The house is bigger than you would think with many balconies and outdoor seating areas to enjoy the views. Everything was in working order and immaculate. The management company was very responsive. They were even able to deliver an order of wood even though it was less than 3 days notice as required. They went above and beyond. We have told family and friends what a great home it was and the location was perfect. A 15 min walk to town and secluded from other neighbors. We will definitely book this place again.

Our original rental was cancelled suddenly, and we were offered this house--a really, what a gift that was.
The home is spacious and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked (though items like sugar or oil may need to be purchased), and the hot tub is dreamy.
The tv has wifi compatibility and some apps (Netflix for sure)--but the tv is pretty tiny and there is a VCR (no DVD).
The home is very close to city center--it is walkable. We strongly recommend the doughnut shop in town.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The home very spacious and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The master bath with big tub and skylight was awesome. After a long day outdoors, we like to get cozy and the fireplace was so nice. The main living room furniture could use some updating with a larger sofa and bigger TV. The blinds were a bit difficult to put up and down. The bedding seemed old and could use new duvets, comforters and blankets. Overall, this place was great.

This is a lovely home in a beautiful setting. Very comfortable, close to town but still felt away from it all. Loved the art work, the spa, and being nestled in the trees. Would definitely recommend.

Great cabin and location

We enjoyed our stay at Idyllwild. It is a beautiful village with lots of hiking trails around. The cabin was great – spacious, clean, and had more than we expected. The jacuzzi, after long hikes, was delightful. We liked that we could walk to the center of the village within 10 min. The village offers art galleries, gift shops, and excellent restaurants. Our kids loved the painting ceramics class. Two hours away from LA is an easy drive and a great place to visit.

The place is in good location with a great view of the mountains. The hot tub on the deck was awesome. The beds are small and it was tight to sleep four adults and four kids. The cabin itself was comfy the fireplace was a nice touch and we enjoyed eating and playing games on the large dining table. Downfall the TVs were very small. The kids enjoyed exploring outside and climbing tree area and the skylight area in one of the rooms. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.

The home is really cute.Very clean. You have beautiful views from the deck and hot tub. Location is perfect I loved that you are literally 3 min from the little town. So you are able to go to market, pump gas, go to restaurant near by without having to drive long. It’s very quiet and peaceful. Home is 3 floors plenary of space for everyone. Although the Kitchen is a bit outdated and so are cooking utensils. Also wish it had A/C it was hot and 2 bedrooms don’t have ceiling fans so it was hot. We had to go out and buy 2 fans at the local hardware shop which wasn’t far at all. But after sunset if you keep windows open cool air does come in. Overall we had a great relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend.

4 floors and a lot of stairs

Overall, I really enjoyed our stay at this home. There is a lot of stairs and I would not advise anyone with toddlers or persons with knee or disabilities rent this home. If you plan to be out in the deck - you will have to have shoes on as the wood needs a lot of TLC. The kitchen is quite small and narrow (if the fridge is open - no one will be coming in or out) but it is open to the living and dining area. There is NO DVD player! There is a very small children's nook (chit-chat place) for children to use located in one of the bedrooms and accessible by ladder. This house is private and secluded; the only neighbors are across the street.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two day visit in the cool fall of Idyllwild. We were up here for a birthday celebration. The home is beautiful and located in a secluded area. The art throughout the home is just beautiful. Being a New Mexico native, I would love to know the history of the Native American dress. There was plenty of room and the hot tub birthday BBQ was a treat. I will be back.

Dealing with New Spirit was very pleasant.
