Welcome to Knotting Hill! This modern cabin rental near hiking trails in Idyllwild, California, can accommodate up to 6 guests and features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The home is only a 10 minute drive from town, which makes trips to restaurants or shops very easy.
The home features wifi which allows you surf the internet as well as a smart TV where you can stream Netflix, Hulu, or your other favorite streaming service! The home also has board games which make family game night super fun. Cuddle up by the fireplace in the living room and play some board games with your group!
The fully equipped kitchen comes with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and blender, all necessary cookware and tableware, and more.
The home boasts a large spacious deck that is fully fenced in with plenty of outdoor seating. Take a dip in the spa after a long day of hiking or grill some burgers on the gas BBQ. The deck is also a great spot to do some yoga or meditation in the morning.

It was accurate as I described it very much liked the beautiful panoramic view of 🏔️ the mountains the sunset. the 🌅impeccable house really fell in love with that place and I want to return soon there were fences of all the services thanks for allowing me to stay in their home 🥰

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin in Idyllwild. Here are some pros and cons.
Pros: Amazing deck with views, nice and clean hot tub that works, flat driveway (driving in the snow was tough), comfortable space for two people, wood burning fireplace, 8 minute drive from the town, clean cabin.
Cons: Beds were uncomfortable/ hard, the couches were uncomfortable and dated, minimal overhead lights so it got a bit dark, the check in process was annoying (had to sign papers ahead and scan them and email them sensitive info and physically pick up / drop off the key in town). But overall we got past those things and still had a nice stay at this place.

We had an amazing time at this property. The view was amazing it’s in a quiet neighborhood. (never saw neighbors). We stayed memorial weekend and went into town for shopping and restaurants. Only a 5min drive to town. We will definitely stay again. Property manager was great we needed the tank filled for the gas grill and they were on top of it. Highly recommended

Lovely cabin with an expansive view deck, quiet location. Had what we needed for a pandemic getaway. Even as the decor and appointments were simple, the cabin had what we needed, and we enjoyed a restful getaway with hikes, biking, cooking, etc. Some may find the downstairs sofabed creaky, our boys didn't mind. Upstairs beds are fine, if a tad hard. Showers worked well, all was clean and in working order. And stargazing at night from the back deck was magnificent.

Very clean property. Beautiful, large back deck with nice views. The only downside is no central air conditioning, but there were box fans available.. Close to downtown Idyllwild.

Really a wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay in early September. The view from the deck in the back was better than expected. It was really relaxing to sit on the deck, watch the squirrels, and do our art hobbies after morning exercise. The hot tub on the deck was clean as well. The chairs on the deck were comfy and clean. For us, the back deck and hot tub were just what we were looking for during this trip and we tried to spend as much time as possible on the deck. The house was clean with plenty of towels and wash cloths for us (2 people). The bathrooms had been updated and were clean and worked well. The kitchen counters hadn't been updated but the appliances had and worked just fine. We found the kitchen well supplied for our needs but we didn't cook much. We really enjoyed our stay and made the most of the views from deck in the waning summer.

this cabin is very nice and clean and the view from the balcony is beautiful. we spent most of our time out there is was great. my only complaint was the bed on the 1st floor but other than that it was great.

Mountain Getaway

This property was clean and beautifully maintained. They had all the amenities you need to stay as your home away from home. The hot tub was a great way to relax and hang out after hiking too. The only thing we would say is that the mattresses need to be updated in all bedrooms. They were either to firm or soft.

Place was beautiful and well kept. Only complaint would be that the hot tub did not fully heat up until the 2nd day. Otherwise, we fully enjoyed our stay.

Great Weekend Stay

This rental made for a perfect weekend getaway. It was a cozy cabin with plenty of room for our guests. The deck and view in the photos do not disappoint. We had bright sunrise for coffee each morning and cool sky colors each evening.

Great Deck and View

Best thing about this cabin was the deck and the view. The carpet was dirty and needed to be stretched. There was no hair dryer, no toaster and no hot pads. Wish there had been a bathroom upstairs with the 2 bedrooms.

My husband and I have visited Idyllwild every fall for the past 10 years. This cabin is, by far, the most beautiful view we ever had in a residence up there. It's beautiful inside too! Lovely southwest decorations in comforting colors. Sitting in the jacuzzi and looking at the stars at night can't be beat here!!
